Asahikawa Zoo

Shikisai no Oka
Set among the rolling hills of Biei, Shikisai no Oka is one of Hokkaido’s most spectacular flower destinations. From spring through autumn, colorful fields stretch across the hills, with the Daisetsuzan mountain range creating a breathtaking backdrop. Asahikawa Summer Festival
One of Asahikawa’s biggest summer celebrations, bringing the city to life during Hokkaido’s short but vibrant summer. Fireworks, lively parades, traditional mikoshi processions and the Sanroku Festival fill central Asahikawa with energy and a festive atmosphere.

Asahikawa Kitasaito Garden

Drive to Biei
